Can i get more than 3500 grafts by extending the hair transplant session in same day ?
Normal FUE with Double forceps no root touch technique
Normally one session of HT is of 6 – 8 hours and 2500 – 3000 FUE grafts can be done in single session.
Normal FUE with one forcep technique
It can deliver 3500 – 4000 grafts in 6 – 8 hours but area around graft root is grassped by forceps so it is not ideal
FUE with Stick and place two persons
2500 – 3000 grafts in 6 – 8 hours
SAVA TYPE Implanter with 2 persons inserting grafts together
2500 – 3000 grafts in 6 – 8 hours
CHOI / LION type implanter with one person inserting grafts
1800 – 2400 grafts in 6 – 8 hours
CHOI / LION type implanter with two persons inserting grafts together
3500 – 4500 grafts in 6 – 8 hours
There are some patients who ask that if they are ready for 10 – 12 hours single session to do a greater number of grafts in single day.
Answer – Safe local anesthesia doses allow about 7 – 8 hours of surgery . If surgery is longer than this then it can be harmful for your body .
